A new day… another chance to shine

Another day, another chance to shine. Let’s get it, let’s really get it. I want to be great and I want to be the best that I can be. I want to join the gods.

My actions must align with that, I am really trying my best but it’s not easy at all.

I fall off, that is life. It is also life that, as you keep trying to improve yourself, your base level improves and increases. I got that from an interview I listened to, interviews are the best.

Don’t let your bad days be F-minus days, at least they must be C days, and if possible, C-plus day. So, that’s what I am seeing. My falling off now isn’t the same falling off that it was before. When I sleep late now it is 11pm.

It used to be 12 or 1am.

When I am late to work now it is no later than 8:15am. I was reading my dairies/journals and there was a time when I was saying “be a work by 10am”, that’s how bad I was.

Then I saw somewhere else it was 9:30. I remember making it 9am. I was never going to be able to do what I have done this month which is get to work by 8:10, 8:15 latest every day. So, keep going and improving.

Dreams don’t end. Only you end the dreams. By my calculations a lot of the Prison Break stars were in their late 40s when they got their big break.

To be honest, I only checked Alex Mahone and Brad Bellick because they were amazing, I should check T-Bag too.

Anyway, Alex is 64 now and Brad is 60. So, clearly, they had put in years and time to get that big breakthrough or definitely in, Wade Williams’ (Brad Bellick) case, his biggest role. So, these things take time. You have to stay in the game. You never know what may happen, you never know when you might get that breakthrough. I think sometimes we take ourselves out of the game because we think time has passed, is passing or it is now too late.

So, back self-improvement. Try make small improvements daily and monthly, and try do that forever, for as long as you live. You will reach amazing stages of yourself and for yourself.

5 pushups a day becomes 10 and that becomes 100 with no stress at all.

Just be a better you every single day.

I guess I want to study greatness.

I found this in my scraps. It is from August 2021.
